Wow, flooding on the DVP is crazy! Most of southern Ontario got the torrential downpour, myself included. Hopefully the rest of the summer will turn out nicely. Still not sure if I'll do that summer job at the banquet hall. Maybe this summer I just want to relax.

did you get drenched yesterday, too? haha it's good for the grass. I actually know someone who works as a server and pretty much works every banquet-like venue in the GTA. Makes pretty good coin, but long erratic hours. He got to see all the fancy places in town, though. But relaxation is hard to come by, so if you don't need to work, why do it? :)

Yes, I did. Thankfully I was indoors. And I need the money, unfortunately. My computer has had a good, long life of 6 years, it needs replacing. School tuition is getting pretty expensive these days, too. I was forewarned of the hectic hours, but it's only weekends so it should (hopefully) be alright.
